RSGS Inverness Group

The RSGS Inverness Group was established in 1989. Alistair Cruickshank gave the first public talk, entitled The Islands of the Gulf of St Lawrence.

There are now six RSGS Inspiring People talks in Inverness each year.

4th December 2017 – Mark Evans – Into the Abode of Death: Crossing the Empty Quarter of Arabia 

15th January 2018 – Prof. Colin Ballantyne – The Ice Age in Scotland

12th February 2018 – Jo Woolf – The Great Horizon: Stories of Exploration from RSGS

12th March 2018 – Harry Hook – About Africa: In Pictures

These talks are given on Monday evenings and all talks in the 2017-18 season will be held at The Highland Council Chamber.
