RSGS Stirling Group

The RSGS Stirling Group was established in 1990; Ron Livingstone gave the first public talk, entitled Falkland Islands.

There are now six RSGS Inspiring People talks in Stirling each year.

6th December 2017 – Mark Evans – Into the Abode of Death: Crossing the Empty Quarter of Arabia 

17th January 2018 – Prof. Colin Ballantyne – The Ice Age in Scotland

14th February 2018 – Jo Woolf – The Great Horizon: Stories of Exploration from RSGS

14th March 2018 – Harry Hook – About Africa: In Pictures

These talks are given on Wednesday evenings. All talks in the 2017-18 season will be held at the University of Stirling’s Logie Lecture Theatre.
