STIRLING – Jo Woolf – The Great Horizon: Stories of Exploration from RSGS
14th February @ 7:30 am - 9:00 pm
In 2015 Jo Woolf was appointed Writer in Residence at the Royal Scottish Geographical Society. For the last couple of years she has been sifting through the archives and finding some amazing stories of exploration, from the late 1800s right up to the present day. These findings have been collected together in a book entitled ‘The Great Horizon’, published by Sandstone Press.
Tickets are available on the night, at the door and online via Eventbrite from one month before until midday the day before a talk. If booking a Tiso or RSGS member ticket please be sure to bring your card(s) along. Thank you.
RSGS Inspiring People talks are open to all. We are pleased to say that this year’s talks programme is being run in partnership with Tiso, the outdoor retail specialist. Entry is £10 for adults, £8 for Tiso Outdoor Experience cardholders, and free for RSGS members, students and U18s
