RSGS HQ will soon play host to an exhibition of photography by talented Perthshire amateur photographer Euan Turner. We will be displaying Euan’s work from April 7th- May 2nd, Tue-Sat 1300-1630. Prints will be available for purchase with proceeds going to The Brain Tumour Charity and Maggies. Please read on for more information about Euan or contact RSGS HQ on 01738 455 050.
Euan Turner, 45, lives in Perth with his wife and two daughters. He is a talented amateur photographer who has pursued a career in health and safety, working for SSE, The National Trust for Scotland, Perth and Kinross Council and the Federation of Scottish Theatres.
A former drummer with one of Scotland’s first ‘funk ceilidh’ bands, the ‘Tartan Amoebas’, he has worked part-time since the death of his sister in 2007 to gain time for family, friends, photography and the outdoor life. His love of Scotland and its scenery is demonstrated through this exhibition ‘All roads lead to…’
Diagnosed with a terminal grade 4 brain tumour in January 2014, it is hoped that this exhibition will raise money for the charities supporting Euan and his family, The Brain Tumour Charity and Maggies.
